I must share with you some of my recent readings. Nellie Bly. Yes, there is an old song about Nellie Bly but that is also the pen name taken by a now-famous author in the late 1880's. It is also my persona for SASS (Single Action Shooter's Society). I've just finished her writings about staying 10 day in an insane asylum, one of her research projects and now I'm off to her trip around the world in 80 days or less. What a woman! Amazing!

We've been playing with a game camera focused on our water feature (pond) to see what comes to visit. It has been a fun experiment and we've sure learned a whole lot. I've included pictures of these visitors across some of the site pages.
What They Say
"Welcome to Our Views. We wanted a place to share what we love best in our lives and this page will become just that. Come back soon and come back often; you may not always agree with our views but ..."
Welcome to Thunder Ridge Views.
This is a site for our friends and family to view what's happening now, what happened then and what may happen.
Who's Coming To Dinner

A couple of neighborhood friends getting ready for dinner. . . oh, wait, they ate all the fish last year and the larder is bare just like Ol' Mother Hubbard's Cupboard.
The cowboys lived by a code that has been recorded in a variety of ways. e.g. The Code of the West, Gene Autry's Code of Honor, Cowboy Code of Ethics, the Lone Ranger's Creed and the Roy Rogers Riders Club Rules.
The following was taken from National Day of the Cowboy Organization: Bunkhouse Culture and I encourage you to go to that page to read the full presentation.
While you're there, check into joining the organization. As a tax-deductable group, they work to preserve the way of the cowboy and your membership monies are used for that purpose.
Code of the West
1. Live each day with courage.
2. Take pride in your work.
3. Always finish what you start.
4. Do what has to be done.
5. Be tough, but fair.
6. When you make a promise, keep it.
7. Ride for the brand.
8. Talk less and say more.
9. Remember that some things aren't for sale.
10.Know where to draw the line.
Just our views and we are very happy to share them with you.
What We Do
We enjoy life to its fullest and try not to let the little things get to us.
Michael is a Marine Mechanic with Monte Vista Marine in Flagstaff, Arizona. Lois is at Northern Arizona University, also in Flagstaff. We love to garden, shoot, ride motorcycles, attend Victorian dances, go to drag races, drive our 1956 Ford Fairlane and just about anything else that is fun!
Rule #1... there are no stinkin' rules
